Zocalo Central & Rooftop Mexico City Hotel, Mexico City

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The rooms were great, and the highlight was the really good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the roof. I was a bit disappointed to find out my room had no outside window, but the amazing view of the Zocalo and the flag ceremony each night made up for it.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though small, offered a view of the Cathedral and the Zocalo, but being directly under the dining area was a bit noisy. The staff was consistently welcoming and helpful at every interaction, making the stay pleasant. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Mexico City's central plaza and historic center, although the noise from the restaurant during breakfast could be bothersome. The dining experience was delicious with incredible views from the 6th-floor restaurant. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

Staying here was a mix of good and not so good. The hotel sits right underneath a busy area, which is both a blessing and a bit of a curse. The rooms are designed cleverly with lots of storage spaces despite their small size. However, the absence of a magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a downside, and the internet connection left much to be desired.

The hotel offers a convenient location in the center of Mexico City with many historic places nearby. However, the rooms are claustrophobic and in need of renovation, the restaurant is overpriced, and the terrace is a mixed space for smokers and non-smokers. On the positive side, the staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests.

The hotel offers the best view of Zocalo, with warm decoration, comfortable beds, and all necessary amenities. The window view could be more attractive, but it's not a major issue. The rooms could have been a little bigger, but it doesn't greatly impact the stay.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It offered a peaceful environment, which was much needed after a long day in the city. The unobstructed view of the Zocalo was a definite highlight. The rooms were very clean and well-designed. The location was ideal for exploring the historical Zocalo, going shopping, or just taking a leisurely walk.
