Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were extravagant and offered a side view of the cathedral, they were a bit tiny and located at the street side, making it impossible to sleep with open windows. On the bright side, the room was high enough to avoid street noise from the square and daily demonstrations.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were adorned with beautiful Mexican art and ceramic accents, giving them a unique touch, I found my interior room with a small window facing an atrium to be a tad claustrophobic due to the lack of ventilation. The service, on the other hand, was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to recommend great restaurants and tours. The location was unbeatable, offering a fabulous view of the Central Zocalo and placing me near iconic landmarks and historic buildings. Dining at the upscale restaurant was a delight, both in terms of the delicious food options and the stunning views. However, I hoped for more variety in the breakfast choices.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a great view from the 6th-floor restaurant. Although the rooms can get too hot at night, they are nicely decorated and well-supplied. The service is incredible, with helpful and friendly staff going above and beyond to assist guests. The location is ideal for exploring the central historic district, offering a vibrant setting with easy access to museums and attractions. The dining experience provides amazing views and delicious food options, although a wider selection would be appreciated.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were super clean and comfy with all the amenities we needed, although they could have been a bit larger. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the busiest square in Mexico City. The service was friendly and efficient, making us feel at home. The dining experience was wonderful with a great view over the square. Overall, a good value for the rate and a perfect choice for our trip.
The hotel had stunning rooms, very nicely done up and spacious, offering a side view of the cathedral. While comfortable and clean with ample storage, the airless atmosphere and lack of window accessibility were a downside. The service was very helpful and friendly, although the early morning noise from restaurant setup was a slight disturbance. The location overlooking the Cathedral was truly amazing, with wonderful views of the Zocalo square, but issues with food availability were noted. The dining experience was spectacular with Mexican options and a stunning view. The facilities were well-appointed.
I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The rooms were great, and the highlight was the really good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the roof. I was a bit disappointed to find out my room had no outside window, but the amazing view of the Zocalo and the flag ceremony each night made up for it.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though small, offered a view of the Cathedral and the Zocalo, but being directly under the dining area was a bit noisy. The staff was consistently welcoming and helpful at every interaction, making the stay pleasant. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Mexico City's central plaza and historic center, although the noise from the restaurant during breakfast could be bothersome. The dining experience was delicious with incredible views from the 6th-floor restaurant. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
Staying here was a mix of good and not so good. The hotel sits right underneath a busy area, which is both a blessing and a bit of a curse. The rooms are designed cleverly with lots of storage spaces despite their small size. However, the absence of a magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a downside, and the internet connection left much to be desired.
The hotel offers a convenient location in the center of Mexico City with many historic places nearby. However, the rooms are claustrophobic and in need of renovation, the restaurant is overpriced, and the terrace is a mixed space for smokers and non-smokers. On the positive side, the staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests.
The hotel offers the best view of Zocalo, with warm decoration, comfortable beds, and all necessary amenities. The window view could be more attractive, but it's not a major issue. The rooms could have been a little bigger, but it doesn't greatly impact the stay.
I stayed at this hotel and had a mix of experiences. The rooms, though comfortable, were a bit small for a 4-star hotel, but they were well-equipped. The service was a bit noisy due to early cleaning, but the staff were overall very attentive and helpful. The location was excellent with easy access to everywhere and great for sightseeing. The dining experience lacked some options but had fantastic views. The facilities were good overall.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It offered a peaceful environment, which was much needed after a long day in the city. The unobstructed view of the Zocalo was a definite highlight. The rooms were very clean and well-designed. The location was ideal for exploring the historical Zocalo, going shopping, or just taking a leisurely walk.
